Mission Statement
The Respect Life Office, on behalf of the Archdiocese of Denver
of Northern Colorado, affirms that human life is a gift from God to be protected
from the moment of conception until natural death. The Respect Life Office in
keeping with the "Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities: A Reaffirmation"
from the National Conference of Catholic Bishops (1985), pursues this mission
in the following areas: education; pastoral care and outreach; public information
and public policy formulation and awareness.
The office deals with a wide range of life issues, such as
abortion, euthanasia, sexuality, infertility procedures and the death penalty.
We recently started an e-mail network through which we send
out timely information on pro-life issues and concerns. If you would like to
