Mission Statement
The Office serves as Catholic Charities liaison to the archbishop
for social concerns and the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops (USCCB),
Office of Social Development and World Peace. The office advances the social
teaching of the church (Catholic Social Teaching) on domestic and international
issues while advocating for the poor and vulnerable.
