Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry

Mission Statement

The Office of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministry, is to serve as a resource, advocate, and role model to the ministers and young people of the Archdiocese of Denver. We continue the teaching mission of the Catholic Church, by being a Christ-centered and universal ministry.

As pastoral leaders we are called to encourage and instill multi-culturalism, bridge building, and parish-based ministry. All that we do in the Office of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus.

Ministry is based on the Gospel of Matthew 28:18-20, in which Jesus tells the disciples to, "Go therefore, and teach all nations ... teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you."

Our role in the Archdiocese is to provide programs for youth, young adults, and college students to attend, that evangelize them, catechize them, and show them the larger Church. It is our hope that through attendance at these events, young people are taught to evangelize and catechize in their communities, schools, work places, and families. We also serve Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministers by providing retreats, in-services, and formational and informational meetings.
